Privacy Policy and KVKK Notice

This notice explains how Dash International processes personal data of website visitors and business contacts, in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data controller

2. Personal data we process

Depending on how you use the site or contact us, we may process:

  • Inquiry form: name, company, email address, phone number, product or grade, quantity, port, delivery term and the message you write.
  • Direct communication: emails, phone calls and WhatsApp messages, including your number and the content of the conversation.
  • Business relationship data: contact person, position, company details and the information needed for quotations, contracts, invoices and shipping documents.
  • Technical data: IP address and browser information recorded in the server logs of our hosting provider for security and operation of the site.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data only for the purposes below, on the legal bases listed in Article 5 of the KVKK (and Article 6 of the GDPR where it applies).

  • Answering your inquiries and preparing quotations, which is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract or to perform a contract.
  • Performing trade contracts: orders, shipping, customs, invoicing and payment.
  • Complying with legal obligations under commercial, tax, customs and accounting legislation.
  • Our legitimate interests: keeping the site secure, preventing spam and abuse, and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims, without harming your fundamental rights.
  • Your explicit consent, only where the law requires it (for example, commercial electronic messages). You can withdraw consent at any time.

4. Who receives your data

We do not sell personal data. We share it only when needed for the purposes above, with: hosting and IT service providers; the service that delivers website form submissions to us (Formspree); email and messaging providers (including WhatsApp when you contact us there); freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers and inspection companies working on your order; banks; professional advisers; and public authorities when the law requires it.

Some of these providers are located abroad (for example in the United States or the European Union). Transfers abroad are made in line with Article 9 of the KVKK and, where it applies, Chapter V of the GDPR.

5. Cookies and third-party content

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add them in the future, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where required.

To display the site, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts, and the contact page may show an embedded Google Map. These services receive your IP address and browser details when the content loads, under their own privacy policies.

6. How long we keep data

We keep personal data for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and for the periods required by Turkish commercial, tax, customs and accounting legislation. After that, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, and we limit access to people who need it for their work.

8. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to:

  • learn whether your personal data is processed and request information about it;
  • learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly;
  • know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom data is transferred;
  • request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data;
  • request deletion or destruction of data, and ask that these actions be notified to third parties who received it;
  • object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

9. How to exercise your rights

Send your request in writing to info@dashcompany.com.tr with the subject "KVKK Application", or to our address above, with enough information to identify you. We answer as soon as possible and within 30 days, as required by law. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Board (KVKK), or, if the GDPR applies to you, to your local data protection authority.

10. Children and changes to this notice

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 18. We may update this notice; the date of the latest version is shown at the top of the page.
